You have to eat about 2 lbs of poppy seads before they'll show up on a drug test.

Their claim of eating one bagel containing poppy seads is totally false.

There's an episode of Mythbusters where they prove that eating just a couple of poppy seed bagels is enough to give a false positive, even hours afterwards.

I know there are 2 kinds of poppy seeds, both opiate and non-opiate poppy seeds are used in cooking, but the non-opiate seeds are by far the most common.
