Not to be rude, but who the heck cares?

A stabbing is hardly international news worthy even if the victim died.

There have probably been at least 21 attempted stabbings somewhere in the world while you read this comment.

This is the holiest city in the world, and the Old City of Jerusalem has traditionally been immune from the type of violence found elsewhere in the country or around the world.
