These dolls/robots/whatever serve a real purpose: these people have difficulties with relationships in some way or another and chose to solve their problem this way. Other people go to the red light district to get rid of their sexual energy.
Others can't or won't find a healthy way to release the tension and turn into rapist and/or serial killers..
Of all the 'sick' behaviour in the world, this must be one of the healthiest.
Just my 2 cents, though, YMMV.

I'm all for people doing what the hell they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone but what you've got to remember if this guy wanted to keep what he was doing quiet and personal then he wouldn't have set up a website.

I think if you ask the majority of people to look at this site and the fact he's posted intimate conversations that he's had with his blow-up doll, most people would agree that this is slightly creepy and feels a little weird.

Hey, if I posted Mid-Coitus conversations conversations that I've had with my wife would that not be pretty creep and a bit weird.

If you cannot interact with humans and choose to solve your "problems" this way, (Meaning, don't deal with your issues, ignore them and don't put any work into yourself), then you are setting yourself up for a sad life indeed and making things worse for yourself and possibly others some day.

As for the website, I think it's just one of those DIY websites where somebody made something and is proud to share it with the world. Granted, the conversations are a bit intimate, but they could have been posted as a demonstration of the AI for all I know.
I'm not trying to pick an argument for argument's sake, I just thought the tone of your comment was uncalled for, I had the feeling you were just posting this article to make fun of the guy. And I didn't criticize 2many's comment because I thought they were way more neutral than yours.

I'm not a psychiatrist but I got the feeling this guy has found the perfect outlet for his feelings. I admit I didn't read the whole site before, but the more I see the more I think this is just a guy with a science experiment. Like I said above, the reason he's 'marrying' her is not because he's some sick kid, but because of the AI.

I've got to say I'm with extc68 here. A lot of the condemning, judgemental, repulsed comments I'm reading here sound way too close to the things the rednecks I grew up with used to say about homosexuals. "Ew, that's gross! That's perverted! You know a lot of them are rapists, right?!"

I can't say I understand this guy's situation, but that doesn't make me feel like I have to condemn it.

I'm all for being "non-judgmental" but there's been non-judgmental and there's having a sense of humor by-pass. Making a comparison between the humorous "wtf" type comments and prejudice against gay people is asinine. Gay people are real, blow-up dolls are not!

I for one aren't making any moral judgments about this guy this guy or saying he's a bad/horrible person, I'm expressing an opinion about his lifestyle.

I can't believe you're arguing that:

A guy who has sex with a blow-up doll that has chat-bot software attached to it then posts pictures and full transcripts of dirty conversations he's had with the chat software while sticking it to the blow-up doll THEN decides he wants to MARRY the aforementioned blow-up doll, isn't in the least bit odd and bizarre.
