I think it's fair to conclude that beyond never having played the games he has bastardised into his movies, he has also it would seem never heard of the internet.

I remember renting Bloodrayne, the best thing about it was "dinner with Uwe" where his only two fans, obviously paid by Uwe, sit down for an elegant dinner consisting of Chinese take out, a bottle of New Jersey's finest Cold Duck (still had the price tag on it from the 7-11), plastic campaign "glasses" and a can of Mountain Dew, because Uwe obviously doesn't like the taste of Cold Duck. These two nut bars then begin to flatter and fawn over Uwe as if he were some master director like Akira Kurosawa, Sergio Leone, Tim Burton, or Stephen Spielberg. I cried, I was laughing so hard. Sadly, it was the best part of the entire movie renting experience.]]>
