It turns out that having a lower social standing increases the likelihood that a monkey to choose cocaine over food when stressed.
They could have studied humans and found the same results.

Huh? I read this whole article and all I could think of is why they were providing monkeys with coccaine and then questioning why they liked it? Is that legal?
