I checked a blog entry, a script, and short story, and they all came up male.

Then I was looking at the feminine words and noticed that words like:
[your]
[her]
[we]
[she]
[me]
[myself]
[hers]
would not be in them anyway because the examples i used are not about women(her, she, hers), and are not written in first person(your, we, me, myself).

Had I had something about a woman, written in first person, I guess it would have been female.

Now, I deciced to check the lyrics of a few aerosmith songs, and they all came out female.

it was wrong on mine. i put in a paragraph from my profile page and it said it thought i was male.

It knows.

bah! it knows nothing - i'm all woman, and all my equipment is factory original. so there.

Maybe you just write like a male?

Well apparently I write fiction like a woman and non-fiction like a man.

i copied a quote from Sigmund Freud's Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality and it said it's written by a female :) mowhahahaahaha

I pasted in a paragraph from a paper I wrote last year. It said I was male.

It's wrong.

I tried a half-dozen pieces of my writing, at least 500 words each. It got it right exactly half the time. I must be a hermaphrodite.

It said 2 of the ones that I tried were female and 4 were male. I apparently write like a boy sometimes.

I don't know, it seems to be pretty good at determining gender. It gets it right about half the time.

Apparently when I write letters I write like a girl and when I write anything for a class I write like a boy. Interesting.

Acceptable for a web application - not quite so good if you're in a bar...
