Wizard of Oz - Pink Floyd: Darkside of the Moon
Wizard of Oz - Pink Floyd: Darkside of the Moon [video]
The whole movie is there, all 1 hr 41 minutes of it. For those who haven't seen this, I recommend doing so. It's highly entertaining, whether intentional or not. Beats, musical tension, and lyrics all seem to coincide with what is going on in the movie. And you don't have to be on drugs to see it. picked by donteatpoop 3 years ago

this is a BRILLIANT find. I've heard of this since I was a kid and always wanted to watch it.

You get a GOLD STAR for this find. Thank you so much, not only for finding it but aiding in my laziness because I would have never done it myself.

I was thinking back to how awesome seeing this is, but what a pain it was to time it right (the CD should start playing as soon as the third roar begins) when I thought "I bet someone posted this somewhere on the web." Thankfully I was right. I can't tell you how many times I told people to watch it wil me and then have to start it over three or four times.

Go ahead and post that as your own, Latue. Just mention that the old one doesn't work in the comments to avoid neg votes. I looked forever but couldn't find it. Glad someone posted it back up.

I'm not sure I get it.

First, Oz is a timeless classic. Second, Dark Side of the Moon is without question one of the most revolutionary and fantastic albums in history.

Except for a few minor seconds, I don't see the synching up with Oz and Dark Side of the Moon. I've watched this and other similiar videos (scenes rather than the whole movie) on the Net, and I don't understand what the big deal is? Can someone fill me in?

In the meantime, I find that the IMAX Hubble movie synched with Pink Floyd's "Division Bell" to be much more enjoyable and fitting. Just lie back with your headphones and drift away (hopefully you have a good monitor and headphones):
