What an a*****e. I hope he gets pistol whipped and then has his eyes pecked out. Seriously, I wish nothing good for him for the remainder of his days.

I don't know, live next to a temporally confused rooster long enough, and you might go roostercidal as well. My neighbor had one that crowed all night and day, we all hated the thing. Not that any of us would have killed it... I think the neighbor finally had it for dinner.

And don't even get me started on Guineas...grr, FOWL

You have clearly never lived near a rooster. Or a donkey, but that's another topic.

The man is a local hero and everyone on that block knows it.

This happened to my friend's pet rooster when I was in elementary school! His name was Elvis.

That would actually be kind of annoying.. the article says he went around asking if anyone owned them and noone stepped up and claimed them until after the media got involved. If they really were pets of the older lady then she should've kept them from disturbing the peace. Not everyone wakes when the sun rises so they shouldn't be forced to. I don't blame the guy.

really he is at fault for discharging a handgun in a
populated area, when a shovel would have done just fine.
