Was it just me, or was the middle one trying to get some other message across?

A couple of the phrases she used like "My freedom ends in the compound." and "My choices ended there."

"Alien" is how the article describes this. I can't help but agree that this seems far different from my human experiences.

I'm not sure I'm ready to point fingers and say "crazy" just yet though.

Holy bejebus! That one in the middle looks like a puppet with that goofy smile. All I can hear from the other two is: "Come play with us Danny, forever and ever..."
Yikes

When I heard about this at first I saw like to seconds of the interview where they were talking about losing their children. And I thought people should just leave them alone.

Now knowing the whole story about the compound and the 416 children, and the phone call, I totally understand why they did this.

but seriously I have no problem with non crazy polygamists.

I think she was referring to the compound and her losing freedom as the place the police took them. The place in San Angelo.

Oh, and that was freaky as hell.

When a man and a woman love each other very much..

Er, well, sometimes, when you're born into a cult, you kinda get married off to some old dude and he goes at it with you until you've made as many babies as possible because you know no one is gonna convert to that, you gatta be born into it.

I feel so sorry for these women. It's not their fault they are totally unprepared to deal with the modern world. All they know is that their lives were completely disrupted by armed forces whom they probably had been led to believe were agents of evil. I think it's unfair to put them in front of a camera and interrogate them. We seem JUST as odd to them as they do to us, if not more so.
To be honest, all this frenzy and strange happenings will probably just strengthen their ties to the cult after all this dies down. At least it's something familiar, and everyone they know is involved in some way.
I TOTALLY disagree with forced polygamy AND forced religion... but I don't see any of these women coming out on top in this deal. It's very, very sad, IMO.

Oh are those just three of the wives... I thought it was all of the wives, which would be an impossible amount of childbirth.

Have you seen that episode of the Simpsons where everyone in the town slips fertility drugs to Manjula and then she has octuplets?

BTW, #1 image on Google when you search "octuplets" is of Apu, Manjula and their eight babies.
