Actually, I'd almost believe him on that one.

If the women are so brainwashed they accept and embrace that lifestyle, I would not be surprised if some of the men are, too.

Oh, neither do I. I think it is upon everyone to know the laws and rules for the place in which they live.

I honestly think they didn't know better. But as was said, ignorance while blissful it is not an excuse from the law. I worry about those poor children ripped from their Mama's. They don't know what is happening.

Have the police been able to prove any abuse occured? My heart aches for these children. It's so sad they all have to go into foster homes now.

It is legal to marry someone under the age of 18. It just requires some more paperwork and consent of the parents.

It also changes from state to state. For texas clickhere
