Einstein's view of religion revised
Einstein's view of religion revised
It has long been assumed that Albert Einstein weighted science and religion equally, but a letter written by him in 1954 may well revise that.

Describing god as the expression and product of human weakness and the bible as a collection of primitive legends does not sit well with the previously held assumption that he weighted science and religious belief in equal regard.

An abridged version of the letter, which is due to be auctioned on Thursday, can be read here picked by pocksucket 5 months ago

Yeah, I don't find this surprising at all. I mean, I've heard all of his quotes about life and religion but I never thought that he actually believed or followed any specific creed.

A lot of people will. And one thing it does is make it harder for the pro-god side to use him for their purposes.

I suppose you could say the same about the Pope.

But my guess is the discussion will continue for some time yet.

Yes, both ways.

A X B = D² and B X A = D²

where;
A is Atheists
B is Bible thumper
and
D is Dumbassness
