For once Justice wins in compensation case over fly in water bottle.
For once Justice wins in compensation case over fly in water bottle.
Martin Mustapha found a dead fly in a water dispenser bottle in 2001 and brought a $300,000 suit against the suppliers. At appeal, Mustapha, who never drank any of the water, didn't get the result he was after. Not by a long chalk. picked by pocksucket 8 months ago

You wonder sometimes what goes through peoples minds when they bring these lawsuits to trial. If a fly in a bottle of water sends you over the edge, then it wasn't the water nor the fly. It was YOU. You are psycho and have major issues. Maybe you can sue yourself and then pay yourself $300k for the trouble you caused yourself.

It's refreshing to see courts behave sensibly. Kudos to them!

But wait... if Culligan COULD have foreseen this guy's problems, then they would be liable?

Am I confused now?
