Yeah, his works seem to go that way. I've read this series since high school, for over 20 years. I love his early stuff, it's GREAT. Then... I discovered Terry Pratchett. I don't read Piers anymore....

I LOVED his Riding a Pale Horse.

I think that Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series was much, much better than any Xanth novel.
