Earle H. Hagen, the Emmy-winning composer who penned the themes for TV classics "The d**k Van Dyke Show" and "That Girl" and whose folksy whistling follows Andy and Opie Griffith on their stroll around Mayberry in "The Andy Griffith Show," died Monday of natural causes

When I was in the 6th grade this guy cam to our school and whistled the theme song from the Andy Griffith show. I remember running home and telling my mother that I met a star. :)
