Brits "Too Busy" To Peel an Orange
Brits "Too Busy" To Peel an Orange
British consumers just don't feel it's worth the bother taking the skin off an orange. A recent study showed that we spend only 15 minutes eating lunch in the UK on average. picked by doggylives 1 year ago

I'm British and I've got to say, I just don't like eating oranges because it's too much of a pain in the arse to peel them.

I like oranges, and I'd eat a lot more if I could just find myself someone willing to peel them for me.

While I'm not British, I've got to say that while they may be a pain in the arse to peel, a well-peeled orange peel can be used in lieu of toilet paper if one is caught out on the tundra.... empty handed.

So a pain in the arse now saves a pain in the arse later....

Ha.

Ok, now you've got me intrigued.

Exactly how do you use a well peeled orange as toilet paper? Is it the skin that you use or the peeled orange?

I'm trying to imagine wiping with a whole peeled orange.

Or maybe it's the segments you use. I mean, they're a good shape for making sure you're clean. :)

Plus you get a nice citrus-fresh clean. Bonus!

Now I can't give you a definitive answer to this quandry, but I'd lean on the side of the peel.

What I can say is don't get confuse, "peel" one of these and then use that to wipe:
