There are a couple added to my list now, a few that are already ON the list, and at least one I don't want to see. Also, 1984 is far more chilling in text.

Lol, I just can't figure you out 2manyusernames. You come out swinging with your conservative views, and then you get all liberal on us. Are you a moderate Independent? Nevermind, I don't want to know. Trying to figure you out is part of the fun.

Oh, and I've seen three of these movies. I don't think V would do it. Too fictional and too British. Funny though, it's message is probably why I so loved the graphic novel when it came out in the 80s.

I dunno...I've seen 1984 and V...they don't change my mind about the war in Iraq at all.

"An Inconvenient Truth"...wow...Al Gore talking about Global Warming...did he shut down any of the coal mines he owns? Did he stop flying in his private jet everywhere? The whole reason for this movie was a farce.

"Loose Change"...there are sooooooooo many holes in this guy's outlandish theories... if half of the stuff he said was true, why hasn't the big bad government gone after this guy?

Sorry 2Many...this list is bogus.

What about the one on taxes? I did a bit of web surfing and posted a link to basically a full-length version of it, though the full-length thing is broken into four parts.

I'm with Alton, I noticed that as well. Maybe you're not sticking to a side, just swaying to what you feel is right. I love movies lke those. I REALLY want to see "The Death of a President" one.

You should be able to tell from my comments that I too feel this list is bogus. Completely, absolutely bogus.

I didn't post it because I agreed with any of the nonsense at the site. I posted it because I thought some plime members would enjoy it and eat it up. Plime, like anywhere else has its share of american-bashers or people who want to blame Bush for all the evils of the world. I posted it because I knew they would enjoy it.

Ah, I see. You're a clever conservative. That makes perfect sense now. :)

Actually, I do have mixed opinions and viewpoints.
I am conservative in many aspects, but at the same time I believe that prostitution, minor drugs such as marijuana, and gambling should be legal.

I am all for any and all medical research. See no problem with stem-cell research.

I think marriage should be legal for gays.

I have no problem with the government helping out people in need with welfare, medicare and the rest, provided those people really are in need and not just abusing the system.

I am all for immigration, but can't stand illegal immigration because it is illegal.

My apologies then. I'd pretty much thought you were a rare bird politically, but with your statements above to icepics, I thought maybe you were more conservative and just "acted" liberal occasionally. :)

I told my dad about the list. He said "the government couldn't care less about what I see."
