Also just as a future tip, use more tags. Only using the one tag, "Pregnant", is not going to help people searching.

How exactly am I supposed to know it's a dupe? Shouldn't there be a system in place that warns you on such things?

Yeh, it's called the search function. You search for tags that fit the story to see if it's been previously submitted.

There's also a custom search engine HERE

In this case all you needed to do was scroll down the main news page to see it was a dupe.
