Arlington Whistleblower Fired For Trying To Grant Media Access To Military Funerals
Arlington Whistleblower Fired For Trying To Grant Media Access To Military Funerals
The Pentagon has placed restrictions on media coverage of military funerals even if they gain permission from the family. Gina Gray said that the new restrictions were wrong and that Army regulations didn’t call for such limitations. For her efforts to go against orders she has been demoted and ultimately fired. picked by 2manyusernames 1 year ago

Good job. I can only assume that Ms. Gray was aware of possible ramifications and decided to follow her convictions.

We've been told by our government freedom requires sacrifice. Perhaps these are the kinds of sacrifices (perhaps small in the grand scheme, but large at home) that will be required to win back our country. Ms. Gray sacrificed much more than, oh say, the game of golf.

They banned media coverage a few yrs ago.

I talk to Cindy Sheehan on occasion, (last time was last Veterans day, to be honest) and she told the story of her son coming home in a cardboard box.

Cardboard!

No honor guard, nothing. The airline employees loaded his body into the hearse.

Makes me sick.
