I think the "bad people" lady was a plant designed to create a video moment for the intentional purpose of making the Scientologists look bad. I think that sending video cameras to an event, looking for an individual to act bad, and then using that video in an attempt to cast a negative view on the whole group is playing dirty.

Interesting take, but it shows that you are not familiar with Scientology's tactics.

Scientologists themselves routinely film everything that happens around their offices and 'churches.'

They film and take photographs at demonstrations -- not just those by Anonymous, but demos of any size and by anybody.

They use films and photographs to try and identify people so that they can later harass them at home, their work, or through the courts. Scientology has a lengthy history of abuse of the legal system.

People who protest Scientology are always advised to take film cameras with them, for two reasons:

1) Scientologists have often files false police complaints against protesters. It helps to have film that disproves their version of events.

2) Scientologists have often become violent and otherwise abusive toward protesters. Here too it helps to have film that proves this.

The lady -- one of many people blocked by Scientologists -- is said to live up the street. It would have been stupid to use someone who can so easily be traced as a plant.

Living in such close proximity to a Scientology mission, the woman would be well familiar with the behavior of Scientologists.

Another thing: Anonymous does not need plants of any kind to make Scientologists look bad. The record shows that Scientologists are perfectly capable of making themselves look bad.
