I think by (b) the author means that he misspoke, as so many people do when they are tired, under stress, or just plain have a brain fart ("speaking casually" would mean that Obama referred to his audience as "dudes" instead of "ladies and gentlemen", not that he misspoke).

I just find it funny that the media pick up on every little slip of the tongue and do their best to make the speaker sound like a complete idiot, when they themselves are far from perfect (see above).

I think that's what he meant in "choice B." He does go on (in the next line) to say he believes "B" to be the most accurate.

But I agree with you... it's a brain fart... it happens. But since we're trying to make some mistakes a HUGE DEAL... while others just get brushed off, I felt it necessary to post. But in principal, I agree with you.

Maybe, he is planning to continue working in relations abroad past his hopeful presidency. Not everyone is like Bush Jr., whom I assume will throw his hands up and declare, "Done!"

Even if he isn't elected president(which he will be anyways) He's still going to have a huge impact on the world and international relations, Just look at his recent visit to france.. The french president even said that basically the world loves Obama and how he signifies change, he's willing to tear down the walls that have blocked old allies and willing to unite for common goals.. All I hear Mccain talkin about is how he'd be a better war time president and viagra(maybe not that last one, yet)
