Serial child rapist sues amex for telling authorities where he was
Serial child rapist sues amex for telling authorities where he was
He used his credit card at a hotel and Amex told the authorities where a charge was made. He is now suing Amex, calling them spies. The perverted swine is also suing everyone else he can think of for violating his rights. picked by BernardBlack 1 year ago

I have to say that in America, your rights should apply regardless of your crime.....because the courts can be wrong, and your rights should not disappear till the judge sentences you........but I don't want this guy to win his cases.

This is true, but certain things should be allowed. He is still a suspect 'on the run' and needs to be captured for this fair trial he deserves, and giving away information that would help accomplish this is not a mistreatment of rights.. or at least it doesn't seem like a ludicrous abuse of them.

Why? Does amex not have something in their contract with everybody that states "we reserve the right to report to the police if they ask us to" blahblahblah?

He definitely deserves to be locked up, and while I agree that amex did the right thing (to an extent) I think he might have a case against the company... I don't know the agreement he signed tho...

Rights.. let's see.. Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness... Um.. Free speech.. Protection from unlawful search...

Nope. Right to Privacy not guaranteed. Matter of fact, it's often said that if you do something that makes you famous you have less privacy and there isn't much the police can do about it.

This guy DEFINITELY did something to make him famous.

In any event, regardless of legality, morality or privacy, one man v AMEX, one of the worlds biggest names (not just banks) with an estimated worth of $20 billion and trading much more than that every day... Gee, I wonder who is going to win this lawsuit?

Reminds me of the line from Dark Knight "you think your client, one of the worlds most richest and poweful men, who travels the night beating and arresting vilains, and you're going to blackmail this man?"
