I think this sentence says it should be good for "animal life in the sea".

I think this sentence says it should be good for "animal life in the sea".
If only it were that easy. Screwing with the environment is what got us here in the first place, and the fact that Shell, one of the companies that got us into this mess, is supporting it really makes me doubt it's validity. We don't need to change the earth, we need to change for the earth. If we stop polluting so much, then our planet will repair itself. It's quite capable of doing so, it doesn't need its hand held.
Instead, we plan to screw around with delicate systems in which a single mistake could mean a catastrophe. The easy way out is not always the best way out.
