8 Possible Villains for the next Batman movie
8 Possible Villains for the next Batman movie
With Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhardt's masterful performances as The Joker and Two-Face, respectively, finding another villain or two to ably face off against the caped crusader, while staying true to Christopher Nolan's darker tone won't be an easy task. Here's 8 villains that may be able to pull it off. picked by BWallaby 1 year ago

Thumbs up to Catwoman and the Riddler (Penguin's been done already).

Thumbs down to Mr. Whisper (don't want to fall asleep during the action).

Meh, the Joker was done already too. I think Nolan could pull off an even creepier Penguin than Devito's. I'd have to say Riddler and Catwoman are most likely, though.

I don't think anyone will touch Catwoman after that Halle Berry monstrosity.

I am all about Clayface, Spellbinder, and possibly Crazy-Quilt. The last 2 are a bit obscure though.

Clayface is probably the best for the storyline of the movie.

I'd love to see Harley Quinn. But how can she appear without Joker?

I can forget about that catwomen horror story if you can.

However I saw nothing wrong with the original

Er, that's Lee Meriwether... she's the second Catwoman. You're thinking Julie Newmar.

The riddler would fit the theme of crazy intelligent people. Enough time may not have passed. But I am sure people said the same about the Joker, it was done by a great actor, and then it was done even better by a less known actor. So I am sure someone can surpass Jim Carey.

What I would love to see done is the Harley Quin story line.

It would work perfectly too, she is the doctor over seeing him at the asylum, he turns her into this obsessive monster.

I think it would be perfect.

You can little the first half of the movie with some smaller bad guy, and then have act 2 begin with the joker's escape with his new fling.

I'd actually like to see Jim Carey given another shot, I'm sure someone else could do it, and probably will, but I think if someone told Carey to play the riddler a bit darker it could be fantastic.

I don't think he'd be able to make the Riddler without accidentally cloning the joker. It just doesn't look reasonable. I wish that Rachel could be turned into Harley Quinn or Cat Woman. Then batman has to deal with the decision.

Anybody is a better actor than Jim Carrey, bring back the Riddler.

The Penguin: A british arms dealer. It has a nice modern spin with a classic bat-villan.

Harley Quinn: Psychiatrist for the Joker who helps him escape. Also plausible and can be dark for the new nolan films. I think we're missing a bit of 'steam' here. Too many guys, not enough female star power. And with rachel dead, well.. Gotham is looking a BIT too well manned.

How about the female detective that Two-face DIDN'T kill. She's introduced.. let's keep going on that storyline for a bit.
