This reminds me of this way of playing chess I read about in a Philip K d**k book where each player can't see the others pieces and there is a third person who must inform the others of the results of their actions. I'm not sure exactly how it works but I really want to play it.

I'd love to give one of these to the chess club at my school. Yeah, my school is that nerdy. Anyway, It would entertain me to see their brains explode in trying to make strategies for it.

i think this is very unique. sadly, i don't even know how to play regular chess. so i would lose for sure first time out.

You should learn how,it is a great game, and the rules aren't too complicated, but taking advantage of the rules can get very complicated.
