Still haven't seen the last one, might not see this one either. I am a big fan of the books, but the movies haven't quite captured their charm.

I agree, love the books, but the movies after the first one kinda suck.

I thought the last movie was actually pretty good, but the chamber of secrets-movie made me laugh out loud.

Nothing beats the books though. Ever. And I do mean nothing when I say nothing. Not even you.

I always seem disapointed with the movies the first time I watch them... but after I see them a second time or so, they seem to grow on me...

Order of the Phoenix was like this... took me 2 or 3 times but its actually a good movie.... so long as you dont compare it with the book side by side... regardless... glad to see they are sticking with the flashbacks..

As a HUGE fan of the books, I've naturally always been let down by the movies. I have a different feeling about these last two though. I have a feeling they're going to be dark and gritty, and capture the true essence of the books. This stuff isn't kids stuff anymore.

I'm just afraid of what they'll cut out of this book to fit it on the screen. I was pretty unhappy with the huge cuts in the last one. :/

As everyone has said...the books are wonderful! I just treat the movies as a "Cliff Notes" version and enjoy the production. Can't really compare them because they cut so much out.

The trailer is very different than the other ones. It's set in the past, hardly any action, barely any Harry...I'm not complaining mind you. Just comparing. I'm excited for it despite the fact that the books are way better than the movies. (P.s. Thank the GODS the seventh book will be two movies, eh? Less stuff to cut)

i have really enjoyed the movies. i love them.i have never read one book. i guess i am on the lower end of the fan base. i will enjoy watching the new movie.

Thank you MM! I hunted and hunted for a trailer and what I got was "Rick rolled" (Forehead slap!) Great now my head hurts! This is awesome. I don't even remember this book. I only read it once. I do remember the important stuff. I am disappointed that it won't be released til DECEMBER! WHAT!?

If you go to the movie expecting it to be like the book you will be disappointed EVERY time.

My biggest disappointment in THIS movie is that it is not being released in NOVEMBER! That is the month! Grrrr..it said DECEMBER. I watched the trailer twice. Sigh.

I am at the exact opposite end of the spectrum. I hated the books, absolutely hated them; but I really enjoy the movies.
