This game is sooooo hard

I got 57600. I managed to wipe out America, China, Indonesia and few other countries. Couldn't infect Australia or Japan though :(

The trick is to keep your disease as near to invisible as possible (ie keep the symptoms low) until you have a lot of countries infected, then whack up the symptoms and watch the world die HAHAHAHAHAHA! That said I couldn't get west Europe infected as they close borders as soon as someone farts.

exactly that is how it must be done I got every country but Madagascar, which put up its borders quicker than the rest.

I managed to wipe out west Europe but I think my mistake was hitting too hard with the virus too soon, it shut down the transportation too quickly.

Anyone notice that Greenland often times maintains a running hospital and airport even after everyone is dead?

I had to play it three times before I conquered humanity! Fun game!

Any time my disease get out of its home country Madagascar clams up. I sell off all of my symptoms at the beginning and limit myself to very few other upgrades but still Madagascar runs and hides as soon as it starts spreading. I guess I'll just have to reset the game over and over until I start in Madagascar. Otherwise I can kill everyone every single time.

How do you get madagascar???

The best way to win is actually to have no symptoms at all until every country is infected. Then add extremely lethal symptoms. Of course, Madagascar will still probably close it's shipyards and foil your plot anyway.

I was able to spread my disease to all of Indonesia, and kill them, before anyone else was infected or closed their borders. I failed to wipe out the human race but Indonesia died before anyone know what was happening.

I'm able to spread my disease to most of the globe, but even adding symptoms it seems that nobody wants to die. Am I missing something?

Some Symptoms are just plain bad : they will make you more noticeable and they won't kill/help spread. (Those that are more expensive to get rid than to buy).
Some will help you spread your disease like coughing.
Some will help killing like fever, kidney failure, ...

Yup it seems like a good strategy, and for the rest there's a lot based a luck. I noticed that it helps a lot starting on New Zealand or Cuba...

This game is so easy, although it usually goes like this:

Advisor: President of Madagascar! Some one coughed in Brazil!

President of Madagascar: SHUT....DOWN.....EVERYTHING!!!!

...................................

Actually people what you do is you start out with virus, wait a few minutes to evolution points, cancel out all your symptoms. Buy all of the non-resistance point thingies. Then give your virus waterborne ability. Wait a while for every country to get infected. And then you lay on the very deadly symptoms. It's pretty easy. Also it's fun to click on world and there's like one person left.
