This story was *amazing.* Really fabulously well-written, and creepy as all get out. This is the first time I really wished I had more upvote power.

I have to say that I can easily understand what these twins were doing. Once you own rats you realize how much personality they have and can't help falling in love with them. I have to make sure I only bring female rats home so that I don't end up with a population overload like they did.

I did not get the sensation of "skin-crawling" when I watched those videos of rats, I just saw a bunch of rats walkin' around, something I wouldn't mind seeing more in real life.

This article while it was very interesting seemed to be like anti-rat propaganda, who are just another form of rodent, like a mouse.

I think that despite their problems with keeping the rats on their property these old ladies (crazy as they may be) should have the right to keep as many rats as they want on their property, but they need to make sure the rats are not going over to the neighbors. America needs it's crazy Rat ladies, or cat ladies, or fish men.....that's what makes it the weird crazy place it is.
