This is the best part:
"To help me, several churches are putting on a charity musical called Caligula about some Romans. I haven’t seen it but I think it must be good. The Parish staff seems to be very excited about it and to be honest, I think they like it more than the kids that are in it because the kids seem unhappy all the time but the rest of the staff is always very happy."

I know premarital sex is a sin, but as a dedicated, baptized, confirmed Catholic, I’m free to ask for forgiveness and be absolved for my digressions, and I won’t have to die a virgin. It’s okay, and more than okay because I’m still technically a child.
His church not only supports this mentality that sinning is okay if you ask for forgiveness, but they've been encouraging him through all of this.

I was raised a Catholic and know first-hand how screwy they can be, but damn..

f**k him. If he really is sick, I still say, f**k off.

If this was legit and he wanted to get laid, he could get laid.

His bulls**t attempt to con $127,537.00 by playing on people's feelings, making them feel bad for the criminal prick really pisses me off.

These sort of begging sites should be treated as a business. They should require the same license and regulations. Also if they are just begging than full disclosure of him, his financials, and how every penny is used should have to be disclosed just as if it was a legitimate charity.

God this sort of s**t sickens me.

I am upvoting the edit and downvoting the article. This sort of advertisement, this sort of scheme to scam people out of over $100,000 doesn't belong here on Plime.

I'd hoped that, although not spelt out, everyone would realise that this is a joke site.

If you're not convinced, try and find a way of actually donating money.

He'll maybe cover the cost of the traffic of the site from the ad links in the bottom right, but look at the titles of them - Jesus Loves Your Computer?

Maybe switch to decaff for the rest of the day.

I didn't bother to look. This sort of crap is still pathetic. It isn't humorous, well perhaps the first one was many years ago and a ton of sites previously.

If the site gets promoted enough he will probably do a lot better than break, even if he doesn't he is wasting a ton of bandwidth and time with his repetition of a tired and old "joke".

On top of that he directs people to other scam companies that promise to repair your credit report, offer college loans and other pure scams.

If it was just a joke, than I'd be okay with it. Instead it is an attempt to make money and use pure scam companies to do so. This is even worse.

Sorry, just my opinion...

And that's all fine, but really - I can't believe that anyone looking at that site would be convinced on the strength of those adverts alone to take out a loan when they weren't planning on doing so before, and I don't honestly think you do either.

So really the only people getting "scammed" by this are the companies who will be paying him for clicks that won't turn into business, and it doesn't really hurt to hurt them.

When you say "scam" there, I think you meant "joke".

I'm right, aren't I?

You didn't really think he was expecting people to contribute to his holiday did you?

No, didn't think so.

Same. If anyone knows how to track thousands of anonymous email forwards so this kid can make his money, I'd love to hear it.
