Octopuses have two legs and six arms
Octopuses have two legs and six arms
To most of us it has always seemed obvious that an octopus has eight arms. But experts have now revealed that this assumption is wrong - as two of their long tentacle-like limbs are in fact legs. picked by AutumnLotus 1 year ago

Wait just a minute there! How does one define "leg"? As "the appendage used to push off from a surface to propel the body through space?"

Yes?

Well, okay then.

Never mind.

So if I a hand-stand, my arms are actually legs?
The logic to the 6 arms, two legs idea is really flawed. They don't have even any ARMS. They have TENTACLES.
On the other hand, the discovery that octopuses prefer to use certain tentacles for certain tasks is interesting.

I'm just wondering why it took these so called "experts" this long to determine such a thing.
