I didn't click on this for a long while because I thought it was going to be a joke about rape (which just isn't funny). Glad I checked it.

This device is great, this is exactly what a rapist deserves. I wonder though, how do you remove it without injuring yourself?

I think it's a good idea as well, but I do tend to agree with most of the criticisms.

It may not totally incapacitate the rapist, or if the victim is restrained prior to the rape, she wouldn't be able to escape, and the rapist would be pissed then, making the situation worse. Also the same if there is more than one attacker.

Also there is the possibility of the device being abused by some psychopathic woman that just wants to harm people. Read the newer article about the mind of a psychopath, and think what a woman could do with this.

And hell, my wife will forget the beginning of a conversation by the end of the conversation. I don't want to have her forget to take one of these things off before we get started, and go through that nightmare.

Lastly, although I didn't read the whole article, I did see a quote from the creator saying it would reduce STD's because no fluid from the attacker is left inside, but there are quite a few blood vessels close to the surface, if this thing pierces the skin at all, there is a very good possibility of a good volume of blood being shed in a short period of time. That could be very risky.

yeah im with you blue frog...i think the idea of something to prevent rape is obviously good...i dont think this is it.

true anyone who rapes should have sharp barbs jabbed into their penis...but i think a device like this could actually endager a woman more. if it doesnt completely incapacitate the rapist, it will probably put the woman in more danger because he will be pissed off

and what about the woman? like poop said, how do you remove this without injuring yourself....or what if something happens when its inside the woman? i dont know, maybe its just me, but the thought of having sharp barbs inside my special place just doesnt seem like a good idea
