I don't think I want to be walking through some super charged magnetic environment for 8-10 hours a day. I'm all for new technology but this seems like something in need of a little more study - I'll stick with the wired workplace for a while.

MAgnetic fields really don't affect humans.

All those people claiming they got cancer from magnetic fields around power lines?

Bulls**t. I've done the electromagnetic calculations myself. The amount of radiation is infinitesimal.

They only thing I'm concerned about is the massive inefficiency of it.

I beg to differ.

When I was a vet tech there was a family with many animals that got cancer very early and died young. Same happened to their OWN families.

"Are there any measurable negative effects?

Currently, the only known measurable negative effects of EMFs are related to quality-of-life issues. Local power lines, poles, substations, and high voltage transmission lines are aesthetically displeasing; a possible reduction in property values and a deterioration of community may occur as families choose to relocate to avoid EMFs. Those who live in areas selected for new EMF facilities may be resentful and resistant to them being built.. "

You're probably right, but wouldn't a system like this wreak havoc on electronics?
