ha i just used this and wrote a huge essay for my Meterology and Global Climate Change class! we had to examine our ecological footprint and discuss how to remedy it

the only problem i had with the footprint was that the Goods section was completely speculation...the only thing you answered is your trash contribution...that is not an accurate indicator of your goods consumption...its basically does the average spending for a person living in your area...which isnt very individually tailored.

still and interesting quiz....i think the foods section is what most people will be surprised by

I was surprised by the foods section though it doesn't ask how much you eat, just whether you eat meat regularly and whether you eat pre-packaged food.

However, if you only eat 1 meal a day or 2 small meals then you would likely not be consuming near what they guesstimate.

It is interesting though in that it makes me think about ways I could reduce my impact on the planet a little more (I'm currently under the average but way over what I feel comfortable with).
