It seems to follow the plot of the game somewhat. I'm confused about those flying monkey things.

As a fan of the games, that looks like it kicks some serious ass.


Of course, it IS a trailer and the chances are that the movie will suck donkey balls.

OMFG!!! Yes the vid game freak inside of me just had an vidgasm.

Let me just say it here: Marc Wahlberg is a HORRIBLE actor that tends to do HORRIBLE movies. I can only make the exception of Boogie Nights. And I think that only worked because the character called for the clueless dork look in the eye that he naturally has. Every other movie that he's in makes me cringe. And what he and Tim Burton did to Planet of the Apes is just unforgivable. I think we should enlist the Funky Bunch to take him down once and for all.

I saw them filming a lot of this in Toronto. It looks pretty kick-ass. :)

I wanna see it. I love the song that is in the trailer. But, then again, trailers are usually better than the movie.

My suspicion is that they are Valkyries, most likely shown during "Valkyr" (the big drug in the game) induced visions. Either that or they're not following the story line at all. It's a toss up, I'm not really sure.

They are Valkyries (it mentions that in the trailer) and you're probably spot on about it being from the drug.

And I edited a spoiler into your comment. Anyone that hasn't played the game has a potential plot spoiler from what you said there.

I used to play this game like it was my job. Guess I'm taking the day off to see this.

Thanks, and my bad, I thought that was revealed right at the beginning, but it occured to me upon thinking about it that it really didn't get revealed until much later.

I'm not completely Anti- Wahlberg, but I was hoping Max would be played by someone who could do 'quietly angry' better than he can. I can only picture those distressed eyebrows as in ‘Planet of the Apes’ (what the hell was Tim Burton thinking?!!!)



I'll just wait... and obviously expect disappointment even though I'll go and see the movie anyway.
