This so called "break" is a joke in the history of music. Ask Musicians. IT is kind of like when people who are talking... say "UM".

My opinion is ... I don't care how boring the speaker is, the "Amen Break" is insignificant.

I read the title and thought to myself, "I bet it's Amen Break". And then I was expecting it to have been posted by Dr Strangelove, and was a bit surprised and impressed that DEP posted it.

I just got an idea: When I start homeschooling my kids, I should include the history of electronic music as part of the curriculum. :)
