The best announcement I have heard was on a short flight, but it went something like...

Welcome aboard the millenium falcon. I am your captain for this evening Han Solo and we will be accompanied on this flight by my co-pilot, Chewbacca *Chewie growl in background*

He was my flight attendant this July. He plays music after that spiel and and when they land too.

It was fun the first time but I had a layover and it actually got annoying the second time I had to hear it.
