But he did have a good point, Dr Phil exploits people just as much as he does.

Cheers for Dr Phil for not talking to him. But how did he get on the show on the first place? Dr Phil warns people to remove children and not let them watch it before they rolled the tape... obviously someone somewhere saw the tape and STILL put the guy on the show.

I guess Dr. Phil didn't see the "before" tape of his interview, just the clips of the bum fights themselves.

Dressing like Dr. Phil was ingenious, but this guy's a sick exploitative s**t head.

It was interesting to see them dressed alike. And I suppose its possible D.P. didnt see the clip beforehand.

I wonder if after this he will be more careful about who he puts on the show? And what happened to the producer who put him on the show?

Shows like that are out for shock value, IMO,I wonder if there was any chance that was a set up?

Dr. Phil has sunk to the Maury and Jerry Springer level and all those so-called "talk" show hosts. He knew what was on that tape before show time. He knew before show time that he was gonna show the tape, interrupt it and throw the guy off the show, just for the hype he knew it would generate. That whole sequence was scripted. All those housewives and anyone else who buys into Dr. Phil just being shocked by that tape has their head stuck in the sand.

The tape promoter is scum, but he's right that Dr. Phil is an exploiter just like he is.

Yea, I agree that Dr. Phil does exploit his guests to gain popularity, but that's nothing new or shocking. It all has to do with the way that he exploits them, and the fact that he offers constructive things for people.

Now, I'm not saying that Dr. Phil is the greatest, he's actually not that interesting, and has a penchant for stating the obvious. However the kind of inspiration that the Bumfights creator offers the homeless is self-destructive, probably most of it is illegal, and just a little depraved.

I'd have to agree with you there. Dr. phil kicked him off his stage by just watching the video. How could Phil not know what was on that tape? Who does a national TV show and does not know what the video says beforehand? and Dr. Phil saying that "I refuse to publicize that" than what the heck did he just do by playing it on the show? shure looked like publicizing it to me!

Is dr. phil a live show or is it taped earlier?
I think it was all prepared too. no way he could have not known what was on that tape. now, IF it wasn't live, then why would he still show the piece and not cut it? if it wasn't live,then that's evidence all was planned before hand.

btw, that bumfights guy is revolting. ugh
