Sorry, I don't really feel sorry for the kid that found it. I do feel bad for those she poked though.

Unless this is the kid of a moron who doesn't believe in vaccination, she should have a healthy fear of needles, and would never have poked her self.

What did she do? Like:

Actually, no, no matter how I look at this I think the kid's parents are morons. By the time I was 6 I knew full well not to pick up dirty things like needles should I find one at the playground. "If you find one, remember where it is and go get a grown-up, or leave your buddy there to make sure nobody else touches it until the grown-up gets there."

Stranger danger= puts things in halloween candy like needles; is determined to be bad guy.

Of those two, outside of my trick or treat candy, I may have come on it and decided I was a good guy, the nurse.

At six, our memories are pretty short unless we're scared or made to be scared of things.

Of course, I will admit, I was the step mother to a very 'independent' boy who no matter what we tried (which was eeeverything) he simply did as he pleased. I got a call from the school saying he was missing. He was in kindergarden. I freaked for a second, put the school on hold. I called the house and he answered. I said 'what are you doing home?!' he said "recess didn't go good so I left"

So I guess I sort of feel for parents who actually parent their ass off to no avail and things like this still happen
