In the news.. Pelosi. Democrats. Obama. I'm not saying you or plimates. Plimates are pretty open minded so I think they appreciate both sides of the issue.

The Republicans are firing the blame right back. That's how the two party system rolls, dude.

I personally like to blame everyone with lots more money than me.

I blame people with too much power and too little intelligence. I could care less if someone is rich.

OK, since you changed the title I can answer that a little better. The Federal Reserve is responsible for every monetary crisis we have had in the US since they have removed gold as the monetary standard and replaced it with credit.

I couldn't agree with you more. Ron Paul has been on the forefront about this issue trying to warn everyone.

I was talking in specifics about who was blaming who about deregulation. Watch Nancy P's speech from today.

God it has not even been 24 hours and I am already sick to DEATH of people saying it was Nancy Pelosi's fault the bill did not pass.

That is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. I have little patience for the lying and blatant criminal acts that go on in Washington...BUT do you HONESTLY expect me to believe that the Republicans voted against this bill...that the President himself gave to them...that would affect not only this ENTIRE NATION but literally, THE ENTIRE WORLD'S ECONOMIC WELL BEING...just to spite Nancy Pelosi because she said some nasty things about how Bush is running the country???

Does anyone REALLY believe that the elected officials are truly that shallow and stupid? I cannot stretch that far. It is simply to moronic.

Reps. Boehner, Blunt, and Cantor should be ashamed of themselves for even suggesting this. People's f*cking LIVES are in the balance. What f*cking good does it do to say "She did it, its all her fault...her and those darn Godless Democrats" And then to actually claim that they had "12 more votes until she spoke" is even more disgusting.

I am so damn sick of this already...I actually find myself hoping in a way that the whole thing falls apart and we have to fend for ourselves. At least then I won't have to hear bullshit from some idiot. And with no electricity, the talk radio f*ckwits will finally be silenced.

Yes. Nancy Pelosi blamed the Republicans for the economic situation we're in, and in turn they voted against it.

Reps. Boehner, Blunt, and Cantor should be ashamed of themselves for even suggesting this. People's f*cking LIVES are in the balance. Nancy Pelosi did not think through what she was saying. She decided to piss the Republicans off, and so they decided to piss her off. If anyone in congress is to blame, it is the Democrats, and they are not about to let the Democrats take credit after she dogs the Republicans for a problem they tried to prevent

The bailout is the SINGLE worst thing we could have done to this economy. The *only* people it would benefit are the CEO's.

And here it is again... and you manage to make it a double edge sword... not only do you say the bailout was the worst thing that could be done... but you place blame on the Democrats who managed to come up with a 60% backing of the bill...

Soo... Nancy Pelosi is to blame because the Republicans feeling were hurt? Bulls**t... and if you honestly believe this... then your naivete knows no bounds... and I just love how you were against the bailout, but still manage to say how she single-handedly ruined it and make it sound a bad thing... I think its YOU who doesn't think thru the things you say... The hypocrisy is immeasurable...

It IS the worst thing that can be done right now. It will ruin a worldwide economy. I posted a link, but I'll post it here too, Linky.

And I didn't place the blame on the Democrats. I said that if there IS someone to blame for the current crisis, it would be the Democrats. The person to blame for this bill failing? Nancy Pelosi.

With all sincerity, Nancy Pelosi has become my favorite congressperson (after Ron Paul), because she was the reason the bill failed.

Soo... Nancy Pelosi is to blame because the Republicans feeling were hurt? Bulls**t... and if you honestly believe this... then your naivete knows no bounds...
Let's see here. Pelosi makes an extremely partisan speech blaming the Republicans for the crisis. The Republicans know this is a bad idea. So, they place the blame on her for it failing because she pissed them off. She is the reason more Republicans voted against the bill.

and I just love how you were against the bailout, but still manage to say how she single-handedly ruined it and make it sound a bad thing... I think its YOU who doesn't think thru the things you say... The hypocrisy is immeasurable...
I guess I didn't make myself very clear. I was stating a fact, that Pelosi was the reason the bill failed. I loooove her for that. I was so excited to hear the bailout failed. I was just saying that the Republicans are not going to let the Democrats take credit for the bailout after the speech she made.

I am totally amazed at all the downvotes on something that is totally fact. Proof is right before your eyes. Do you just choose not to believe it?

Joshsf49 gives his opinion and gets severely downvoted. He uses no foul language and states his case nicely. Yet others with very bitter posts get upvotes.. go figure.. free speech indeed.

furthermore, pelosi didn't need those republican votes. She could have rallied a few more of her own party and the bill would have passed. I don't know how republicans can get full blame when 93 dems voted against it vs. 130+ republicans...

Nobody, not one Dem that I know of is saying its entirely the Republicans fault... the only people placing blame are... SUPRISE! The Republicans!

It wasn't Pelosi's bill... this seems to be missed by everyone wanting to point a finger at the dems... and over 60% of democrats crossed the isle to support it... yet... 2/3 of the Republicans voted it down and its the Democrats fault... and why? Because someone hurt their feelings... Pelosi said some stuff and they were hurt so they will show her! They will take the whole goddamn country down to prove a point... so much for not "injecting partisanship" and working for the good of the country...

this is basic Republican strategy... take no blame and point fingers till something sticks... what horses**t... How was it Pelosi's job to rally 12 more votes? Where was the much lauded McCain leadership when those 12 more votes were needed? I'm sure next, you will be telling us its the Dems that made the hole in the ozone layer, killed off the dodo and caused the destruction of Atlantis....

Apparently you #1 didn't watch the video. and #2 didn't hear nancy pelosi's speech.... because I think it's pretty clear. As matter of fact, I don't know how it could get clearer.

Bullshit. This link says "House Democrats and Republicans immediately blamed each other for the bill's defeat...Democrats said the Republican leadership failed to deliver the votes they promised, as Republican members voted by a margin of more than 2-to-1 against the bailout."

Who's placing the blame now?

Any person that voted for the f**king bill is bringing the country down. Every single congressman that voted against the bailout should be viewed as a national hero. THANK YOU NANCY PELOSI. THANK YOU. Thank you for causing the Republicans to vote against the bill.

1. Pelosi lost the 12 votes. They were already there until she spoke. Blame, or should I say congratulations, goes to her.

2. McCain is in the *Senate*. He does not go into the house to rally troops. That is the House Minority Leader's job.

3. What about Obama? Where was his leadership in bringing 12 more votes from the Democrats? Oh wait, that's right. HE DOESN'T GO INTO THE HOUSE TO RALLY THE TROOPS.

You should be proud that Congress did something right for a change.

Are you really surprised?

The site says "Plime" but according to some people, it should say "MoveOnPlime" or "HuffingtonPlime" or "ThinkPlimeProgress."

Facts! Evidence! Proof!

Nahh... not that important. It doesn't say what they WANT it to say, so f**k you, and your video. "Why should I watch it, if it says something that disagrees with what I WANT to believe? I'm going to blame the other guys, because that's what I want to do! And then I'm going to complain that they're not being 'fair,' and that they're playing 'politics.'"

You only see hypocrisy, if you allow yourself to see it.

F**king unbelievable.

A bunch of bigoted, short sighted, self-righteous, arrogant, hypocritical, disrespectful, cowardly, a$$holes.

DEFEND THE F**KING VIDEO IF YOU CAN, YOU COWARDS!
