Her eyes were glassy and bloodshot, police said. Dudley was unable to perform field sobriety tests and couldn't keep her balance.
One malt liquor? What does she weigh, 35 pounds? Smart kid.

"One malt liquor beer".

It all depends on the size and ratio though. :)

Good, if people want to drive drunk and crash into a tree, that's their call, but endangering others...ugh

We're getting back around to Jax's "should old people be tested regularly" thread aren't we.

Coming originally from the UK, it was a shock to see how much drink driving goes on over here in North America. I believe the UK is FAR more harsh on drink drivers along with much more advertisements to discourage it.

I fully believe that anyone convicted of any sort of injury to another person while drink driving should be classed premeditated, with a weapon.

I agree! The problem is that if you just take away their license they still drive - even if they had to spend time in jail. I think you have to impound their car, permanently. Then, put them on a nation-wide black list that will prevent them from getting a license, buying a car, etc.

"should old people be tested regularly"

That reminds me of my nan.
She always used to say 'When you point your finger at someone there are always three pointing back at you!'

These days she has arthritis so she kind of just waves a fist and there are four pointing back.

As for driving - well. Wrists wrapped round the steering wheel and all that malarky. Blummin dangerous.

This kid is very wise for refusing a ride from his drunken mother.

Haha - I think I love your nan.
