If the tape wasn't used I'm not sure it's entirely up to Katie Couric. It's likely the decision of the network - maybe the network wanted the opportunity to gain more exclusive interviews. I'm sure she has a say but the footage isn't owned by her.

This is pretty crazy that they are censoring interviews just so the network can get an exclusive. Makes me not want to even watch the exclusive when/if they get it. (not like i was going to watch it anyway though) Isn't there a way to force them to release the tapes? Maybe she was just nervous though, ya know :-p

But yea, anyways, I'm looking forward to this debate tonight. Should be pretty interesting, especially if she really does give the type of funny answers that I'm hearing she does.

I just feel bad for her now. She would make a terrible vp this is obvious. Shes metaphorically being bludgeoned to death by the media. Now I just see her as a seemingly nice lady who's in way over her head. Like a kid being bullied. I don't think I can pick on her anymore. I've already accepted shes horribly unqualified.

*disclaimer: I'm not criticizing anyone for showing her downfalls. It needs to be done. I'm just saying that no one deserves to have their inadequacies pointed out to them as much as she has. There's a line I won't cross. It's too bad she can't just admit she doesn't know what she's doing and have someone else take her position. This is just embarrassing.
