He's just arguing semantics right now.
He's trying to smoke and mirror the fact that a collector of child porn is not an "abuser", which is correct (at least not directly). I'd argue that any collector of child porn *is* a pedophile in my book, which means that they're attracted to kids in the same way that most people are attracted to adults.
"6,200 images and 296 videos" looks like pretty conclusive proof of an interest in kids to me.
