That is awesome...Some stupid parent got their kid to take down signs, and he gets zapped for their political ideology haha...

Probably illegal, but still funny.

Is there a way I can electrify my whole yard to keep my boyfriend from putting up the McCain-Palin sign?

He's screwed with both my facebook and my myspace too.

Isn't it illegal to go on someone's private property and remove a sign that is there, regardless of whether you like it or not? That bugs me. If you want to show your opinion, put up your own sign, don't take someone's away.

This is the funniest line from the story:

The boy's father, Andrew Noble, upset that his son had been shocked, showed up at Turschak's door. ... Noble said his son just wanted to see how the sign was put together.
How can this man argue that, when the video clearly shows him HOLDING ANOTHER SIGN?!

I feel sorry for the kid... he's far to young to really understand what's going on, and is most likely a pawn for his father.

But do note the end of the story:

Sheriff Lindy Pendergrass said he doesn't plan to file charges.

Sign-stealing is rampant in my neighborhood, but mostly by McCain-Palin supporters (I live in WV). I had an Obama sign stolen from my yard (as did a bunch of people on my street). Just sad really, if you think that stealing signs is going to enhance your candidate's image somehow.
