Aren't these the same gulf nations that we didn't want to be beholden to fuel-wise? Aren't these the same countries that spurred the idea energy independence? So we wouldn't have to give money to those that "hate" us.

The four states are estimated to have amassed close to 1.5 trillion dollars in surplus in the past six years due to high oil prices that rocketed above 147 dollars in July

I'm sure a large part of that came from the U.S. The least they could do is give a little back after after raping everyone.
