Aren't these the same gulf nations that we didn't want to be beholden to fuel-wise? Aren't these the same countries that spurred the idea energy independence? So we wouldn't have to give money to those that "hate" us.

also -borrowing from the middle east isn't going to help ease the problem of 'increasing' the oil supply is it? so... higher oil prices?
