Who the heck cares if they are offended or not. Should science, heck, shouldn't Truth take precedence over some ignorant savage who thinks the world is 4004 years old or whatever figure these people think?

What about offending the other 99.99% of the people who don't think that the world is a few thousand years old?

I wonder if this is true, sounds very hard to believe. After reading the article, with all the anti-Bush stances it makes it sound even more like bs propaganda.

What about other parks? Are the people in the national history museum prevented from telling people how old the fossils are?
