Ad on Craiglist wouldn't be the only "red flag", how about 23 year old man who live with his mother who wants to baby-sit children? I mean I know there are nice guys out there that love kids, I enjoy taking care of kids myself (in a wholesome way...be nice), but I'm in my 30's with kids of my own!

Perhaps they shouldn't look for baby sitters in the adult personals section of craigslist.

OK, WHAT is the appeal of a 6 month old baby?!?! Why are these sickos attracted to babies and kids? That is so sick. OMG, I hate people like this. I am so glad I dont have to hire a sitter for my kids. The only people who have babysat them are close friends and family that I trust. If anyone were to touch my kids the cops would be lucky to get a piece of the criminal after my husband got done with them.

Pedophiles don't have a uniform or a "look". Also basing opinions on physical appearance is bulls**t full stop.

Oh and as for the guy in the article, put him down like the animal he is, he'll never be "Rehabilitated" and for what he's done he deserves his life snuffed out.

Although I am not an advocate for pedophilia, I also believe that rehabilitation is possible. Like any sexual deviancy, you can change. The only problem is that you have to want to change, and this is rarely the case with sexual deviants. So the hope is that this time in jail wakes him up to the seriousness of what he was doing.
Don't get me wrong, I still think that he is a very serious criminal and needs to spend time in jail, and that it would take years of counseling and self control to overcome his problems, but it is possible.
