Michelle Obama's family: From slavery to White House
Michelle Obama's family: From slavery to White House
In January, when the Obamas move into the White House — a mansion built partially by slaves — as the country's first African-American first family, Michelle Obama will embark upon a life her great-great-grandfather never could have envisioned. picked by muppet 12 months ago

I'm happy to hear about his actions as president. I actually voted for him. I'd love to hear what he plans to do as president, why or why not he's signing certain bills, etc. I DON'T need to hear more stressing the fact that he is black, or the fact that he was/is/may be muslim. I don't care about those things. I just want to hear what the president is doing as a president, not as a human being. All this stuff is about is important as the lewinski scandal.

But many people, myself included, enjoy hearing about the humanity of the person in the post. And anyway, this story is about Barack's wife.

I started making commentary on how the media is absolutely obsessed with obama. It was a fairly small, dry bit of humor not meant to inspire an argument. As a token of good faith, have some upvotes.

Perhaps it wasn't dry enough. Typing in caps usually makes humor wetter.
