I know it will effect me, shortly, my son will finish ait in 6 mos and surely be sent to Iraq. I feel for those who have lost but I don't want to become one of the statistics...because people DON'T realize or care about these families losses, which is too sad!!! We need to support our troops and their families more!!!

I support our troops. And yours (USA) as well. They are operating in regions that need aid, and I think it's terrible they're not getting acknowledged for their tremendous sacrifices.

Regardless of anyone's politics... we just need to remind ourselves that these folks didn't ask to go to Iraq. They just answered the call to duty as their fathers and grandfathers did.

I was in the service for 20 years and I can tell you first hand. Support from home absolutely DOES matter.
