My family doesn't have a landline phone, just cell phones.

We have both. We will never get rid of our landline, as we don't get cell service in the house.

And after the last small earthquake (about a 4.5), we had land service long before the cell service returned.

As much as I hate cell phone, I only have one cell phone to share with my wife. We do not have a landline and she carries the cell phone around everywhere. The only way people can reach me is if they call her or my work. I intend to keep it that way for as long as I can.

We have one landline and two cell phones. We only have a landline due to the fact that the hillbilly phone company will NOT hook you up to DSL without having a landline. Sooo, we have a landline for an extra 16$ a month..lol.

I don't see the point of landlines, all the calls we get from them are telemarketers, surveys and things like that. The important calls go to the cell phones anyways
