Judge In 'Watchmen' Case Rules For Fox
Judge In 'Watchmen' Case Rules For Fox
You know how Santa Claus gives lumps of coal on Christmas Eve to those who’ve been very, very naughty? Well, so do judges. In a twist befitting the comic book in question, the judge presiding over the legal battle for distribution rights to Watchmen found in favor of Fox. The bottom line: Warner Bros. had absolutely no right to roll film on Zack Snyder’s adaptation of the Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons superhero classic. picked by psycmoe 11 months ago

Wow. Here in Lala land we're under the impression that no cameras roll until the rights are cleared.

It's just the rights for Watchmen have been traded like a set of Magic cards for ages. Clearing them all was probably a difficult task, and apparently they didn't clear every single one...

Shame. Makes me wonder what the Fox attorneys held besides dirt on the judge...

And why did Fox wait until the film was COMPLETED before presenting their case? WTF, greedy b*****ds?!

INTRIGUING!!!

Danny Boyle from Slumdog Millionaire just thanked Warner for "passing the movie to Fox". I wonder if there was a deal cut!

6 Oscars for SDM so far, with best movie yet to go!
