I kind of agree with you there. I mean, if I'm reading this article correctly, they even included the addresses of where these guys reside. Its like they're putting a neon sign up saying, "Come one! Come all, hate mongers! Do you want to point and stare and throw things? Here's where you can do so!"

I don't really think it had anything to do with the fact that they were homosexuals. I definitely think they went into detail because one of them was a celebrity.

If a guy from Blue Man Group was hooking up with a woman in public all of the info would still be in the article.

If the male AP of a high school was caught hooking up in public with the male manager of dunkin donuts, it wouldn't have made news.

They would. Arrest logs are published in newspapers all over the country and they detail the arrested persons name, not necessarily the address.

Wasn't there also the story a few months ago about the British couple that got arrested in Bahrain for public sex? They had their names in the story.

I would also think that the people involved are not that concerned about being identified as gay, seeing that they have sex in public places.

I agree, absolutely... And I was gonna bring up the heterosexual British couple that was caught in Bahrain too.

As someone that has done similar thing in almost the exact same area (though not with those of the same sex), I've got to say I'm glad that I wasn't caught. Only, now, I"ll have to find a new area to get my freak on in. The Lincoln Park Zoo is closed that time of night isn't it.
